  1. Converts a SparcStation .au sound (13->8-bit uLaw encoded samples) to ST
  2. format (8-bit unsigned samples).

  4. usage: sparc2st sparc.au stformat.snd

  6. Conversion can be done in place; i.e., source and destination file names
  7. can be the same.

  9. SparcStation .au files are always 8 kHz samples.

  11. The converted sounds almost always sound lousy.
